It controls how much of the code can be damaged, dirty, or covered — like by a logo — and still scan correctly. Low recovers about 7%, Medium about 15%, Quartile about 25%, and High about 30%, at the cost of a slightly denser code.

Any text up to 1000 characters — URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, plain text, contact details, payment links, and more. The scanning device decides how to interpret it.

200-300px works well for on-screen use; choose 400px or larger for print (business cards, posters, flyers) so it still scans from a normal distance.
